National Events

Phi Mu is proud to be the second oldest national sorority! As such, we doing many events with our sister chapters in Michigan as well as with other states and with our nationals. It gives us a

chance to travel with our sister as well as learn information from our other sisters. Some of the events we attend are:

  • State Day: This event is when the chapters of Michgian,
    		•
    (Central Michigan, Albion and ourselves) get together at one of our colleges. This event changes location every year between the chapters.
  • Conference: This is a district/area event combining chapters from different states. This is a great opportunity to meet girls from other states and learn from them.
  • National Convention: This event which occurs every two years bring all of Phi Mu together to learn and grow. At this
    • event, Phi Mu is shaped for the future and it is a great experience to attend. The 2006 convention was held in Nashville and the 2004 in Washington D.C. With all these events, you are constantly remind of our
    connection not only to your chapter sisters but to all your Phi Mu sisters.
